Whale Watching
Newport Landing offers year round whale watching cruises along Orange County from the coast of Dana Point to Long Beach. You can view many types of whales including giant blue whale (summer & fall), finback whales, grey whales (winter & spring), minke whales, humpback whales, dolphins, seals & other marine life. 96% viewing success rate on each cruise. Our primary whale watching ship is 65 feet with an upstairs sundeck, wrap around outside seating, snack bar and indoor seating w/large windows.
Sport Fishing
Join Newport Landing for our open to the general public 1/2 day, 3/4 day, or longer deep sea fishing trips daily. Local trips (1/2 day trips) average 5-6 hours in length and you fish from Long Beach to Dana Point. Catch barracuda, halibut, calico bass, red snapper, yellowtail, white sea bass, and many others. ¾ day fishing trips (7am to 5pm) fish Catalina Island and over 40 miles of Orange County coastline.
